Description: The review considers how the ‘problem' of young people's health and well-being is constructed in Scottish Executive policy – and leads to the solutions proposed. This review found that: Aims and objectives relating to young people's health and well-being can be found throughout key Scottish Executive documents on the programme for government, social justice, children's services and health. These address both specific health issues (e.g. reducing smoking amongst young women) and broader issues impacting on young people's well being (e.g. increasing youth opportunities).
