Publication name: Lessons Learnt from Scotland's Exemplar Physical Activity Employer Award pilot

Description: This six-month pilot started in February 2016 with eight participating
employers. Employers ranged from Scottish Government departments
to small private industries. The aim of the pilot was to determine the
feasibility and scale of future roll-out of the model across Scotland. Plans
developed by each employer (with support from NHS Health Scotland)
were appraised by external assessors. Evidence of implementation was
then submitted to an external assessment team for consideration of
award status.
