Information for professionals on sexual health wellbeing and HIV

Our work

NHS Health Scotland, through its Sexual Health and HIV programme, works closely with local NHS boards and partners to implement key outcomes in the Sexual Health and Blood Borne Virus Framework and the update to the SHBBV Framework published in 2015 (external link).

We aim to provide strategic support work to build knowledge and capacity and offer specific evidence informed guidance, in relation to health improvement, to NHS boards in support of the framework.

WISHH Network

WISHH is a network for everyone with an interest in, and involvement with, positive sexual health and wellbeing and HIV. The network is made up of members from a diverse range of disciplines involved in implementing the Sexual Health and Blood Borne Virus Framework update 2015–2020. WISHH is hosted by NHS Health Scotland. Activities include a monthly e-bulletin, briefing papers, regional seminars and national events which bring together key professionals with an interest in sexual health and HIV.
