Publication name: Evaluation of community health and well-being profiles
Date: 01 January 2006
Description: Community health profiles for 66 localities in Scotland were produced by NHS Health Scotland in July 2004. Their purpose was to make detailed information on health and health determinants available to a wide audience and to draw attention to health inequalities. The profiles were made available on a website and paper copies were distributed locally by public health practitioners, who kept records of recipients. Local presentations on the profiles were given in response to demand.
