OUTCOME - FOCUSED PLANNING
Health Scotland has a leadership role in developing outcome-focused, evidence-informed plans for HI priority areas with monitoring and evaluation framework.
We work with policy and programme teams in the Scottish Government and internally to develop evidence-informed plans with a set of short, medium and long-term outcomes that are linked to key actions. This forms a sound basis for monitoring and evaluation.
The approach is consistent with the framework adopted in our Health Improvement Performance Management Review.
- An evidence-informed outcomes framework for Scotland’s new alcohol strategy.
- Improving health through community-led actions
- Examples of logic models and other useful resources.
