Community and Voluntary Sector Outcomes Planning
In 2006 NHS Health Scotland published Healthy Communities: A Shared Challenge (2006). The Scottish Government’s has now commissioned a multi agency, multi-level action plan to take forward the recommendations that relate to building an evidence base for community-led health therein. The main partners in this work were:

Current work
Working with funders and projects to:
- measure the impact of community-led approaches and
- achieve a better balance between accountability for funding and meeting targets and
- gathering robust data for an evidence-led approach
- scoping work on the economic value of community-led health in partnership with CHEX (external link)
Outputs
- Series of models to illustrate the rationale for community-led approaches
- Qualitative data pilot demonstrating how it helps provide robust evidence for community-led health
- Short briefing paper on the challenges of evaluation and learning in community-led health (2009).
