Health Promoting Health Service (HPHS) Overview
The HPHS concept is that "every healthcare contact is a health improvement opportunity".

The underlying principles of the HPHS are equity, participation, empowerment and sustainability. The principles underlying HPHS fits well with current policy for health improvement and inequalities, particularly the NHS Quality Strategy.
