Is the HPHS Network different from the WHO Health Promoting Hospitals and Health Services Network?

The HPHS Network is a national network for NHS Scotland, which provides a forum for members to share information, good practice and advice. The Scottish Network has developed direct links with other networks in Eire, Northern Ireland and the ENSH.

The WHO Network is comprised of representatives from each of the national networks which operate in most European countries. Within the WHO Network there are a number of additional European task forces to which members of the Scottish Network contribute.

Membership of both networks enables members to use the HPHS and WHO HPH logo which lends authority and extra rigor to work programmes through requirements for peer review.
