Shared learning - National support

This section provides a selection of examples of national support networks and resources which could support Community Health Partnerships to address health inequalities.

CHAIN (Contact, Help, Advice and Information Network) (external link): An online mutual support network for people working in health and social care.

Equality in Health (external link): This e-library has been developed for health care staff in the NHS, and colleagues working in partnership, to address health inequalities. It contains key resources, project updates and relevant contacts in a range of topic areas including: Community Planning and Poverty and Deprivation.

Public Health Information Network for Scotland (PHINS) (external link): This network aims to keep public health professionals in Scotland up-to-date with national and local developments in the sphere of public health information via bulletins, email updates and seminars. Glasgow Centre for Population Health Seminar Series (external link): This seminar series is designed to increase participants' awareness of emerging ideas while encouraging increased working and communication across disciplines and sectors. A range of resources are produced for each lecture including: podcasts, transcripts and a summary of the key ideas and main arguments contained in each lecture.
