This event relates to Sexual Health and Wellbeing Outcome 2 from the Sexual Health and Blood Borne Virus Framework (2011 - 2015) and will aim to highlight recent initiatives, campaigns and research findings to explore what works in reaching hard to reach groups. It will enable delegates to learn about capacity building within organisations in order to be more effective in addressing inequalities and will explore the benefits of partnership working. This virtual conference focused on Sexual Health and Wellbeing Outcome 4 of the Sexual Health and Blood Borne Virus Framework 2011 - 2015 (external link). North of Scotland WISH event
Shifting Positions: Changing the culture around sex
This year’s North of Scotland event took place in Aberdeen on 17 November. The event had a particular focus on Sexual Health and Wellbeing Outcome 5 from the Sexual Health and Blood Borne Virus Framework 2011 - 2015 (external link) recognising the work that needs to be done at both a local and national level in order to promote the positive and life enhancing aspects of sexual wellbeing so that the attitudes of individuals, the public and the media in Scotland towards sexual health are positive, non-stigmatising and supportive.
