This section is for professionals who want up-to-date information on sexual health and wellbeing.

Our work

NHS Health Scotland, through its Wellbeing in Sexual Health (WISH) programme, works closely with local NHS Boards and their partners to implement the national sexual health strategy, Respect and Responsibility (external link) and the forthcoming HIV Action Plan.

Our programme supports professionals by producing resources to encourage better knowledge and understanding of sexual health issues. We seek to provide professionals and others with access to relevant research and policies so that local practice is evidence informed.

In 2010, we will:

  • share the learning from Healthy Respect, a project for young people which linked sexual health education with information and services
