This section is for members of the general public and public health staff who want up-to-date information about immunisation.

NHS Health Scotland works closely with partners such as Health Protection Scotland (external link) and NHS Board Immunisation Coordinators to provide up-to-date resources to support national immunisation programmes and to promote informed consent with regard to immunisation.

The HPV Immunisation Programme offers a vaccine to protect girls against types human papillomavirus (HPV) that can cause cervical cancer.
