Evaluation of the Scottish Health Promoting Schools Unit
The Scottish Government White Paper ‘Towards a Healthier Scotland’ indicated that every Scottish school should be health promoting by 2007.
About the Scottish Health Promoting Schools Unit
The Scottish Health Promoting Schools Unit (SHPSU) (external link) was established in May 2002 to champion, facilitate and support the implementation of the health promoting school concept throughout Scotland.
It provides strategic and practical support, based on research, to key partners particularly those in Local Authority and NHS Boards.
