Health Scotland has a leadership role in supporting the achievement of health improvement (HI) outcomes delivered via a complex, multi-level partnership-based system.
Aim
Health Scotland is leading a programme of work defining the unique contributions various sectors make to HI outcomes singly and in partnership .
The programme reports to a national cross-departmental steering group led by Scottish Government Health Department whose remit is to develop an integrated, outcome-focused approach to governing health improvement.
