Outcomes framework for Scotland's national parenting strategy

Approach

NHS Health Scotland has led the development of an Outcomes Framework for Scotland’s National Parenting Strategy in collaboration with a wide range of partners that have a role in supporting parents, families and children and young people.

Aim

The aim of the framework is:

  • to identify the key outcomes for Scotland’s National Parenting Strategy
  • to specify those local activities which might be undertaken to achieve these shared outcomes.
  • to understand the contribution of partnership activities to delivering outcomes.
  • to bring together and summarise the existing relevant evidence for effective interventions to support parents and families.

The Outcomes Framework is available as an interactive resource from the Parenting Outcome Frameworks website, or available for download as a PDF.

If you have any questions about the outcomes framework, evidence or work of NHS Health Scotland in supporting parents and families please contact jane.ford3@nhs.net.
