Health Scotland Sexual Health & Wellbeing Programme
2005/06 Activities and Progress on Actions within Respect & Responsibility as at end August 2006
The way in which sexual health and wellbeing has developed in Health Scotland is founded on a collaborative partnership with key stakeholders with the aim of improving knowledge and awareness of effective practice, policy and research. This reports on the activities covering the period April 2005 to August 2006: these have been ordered under the key strands of Health Scotland’s work with reference to the particular actions arising in Respect & Responsibility.
It should be noted that no specific action has been taken on two of R&R’s recommendations (62 and 67). Further discussions with the Scottish Centre for Healthy Working Lives and the Health in Later Life team during 2006/07 will identify what further work will be undertaken.
