About the Cross Party Group
ScotPHN provides secretariat support to the Scottish Parliament's Cross Party Group on Obesity.
The Cross-Party Group is a forum for MSPs, health professionals, researchers and other interested parties to discuss and influence national strategy for dealing with problems of obesity.
Membership on this group comes from a range of sectors including health professionals, local authorities, researchers, the schools sector, the voluntary sector and transport and spatial planning.
Meetings
The next meeting of the Cross Party Group on Obesity is scheduled for 5.15pm on Wednesday 26 November at the Scottish Parliament. Please contact Neil Guy at the email address given below if you would like to attend this meeting.
The last meeting was held on Wednesday 17 September at the Scottish Parliament. Minutes from this meeting will be available soon.
The first meeting of the Cross Party Group on Obesity was held at the Scottish Parliament on Wednesday 28th May 2008.
