How responses are made
Responses to formal consultations are drafted by Network subgroups as appropriate to topic under consideration and circulated by e-mail to all Network members for comment and suggested revision before being submitted to the appropriate agency. Member organisations and individuals also respond directly to such consultations.

Central Scotland Green Network Consultation (July 2010)
The Healthy Environment Network response to the Central Scotland Green Network consultation was to recognise the benefits the network can bring to Central Scotland and in particular the health and wellbeing benefits.
Tranport, Infrastructure and Climate Change Committee Inquiry into Active Travel (December 2009)
The network response to the consultation underlined the significant contribution active travel can bring to the delivery of a wide range of public policies and national indicators including transport, health and wellbeing.
Zero Waste Plan Consultation (December 2009)
The network response to the Zero Waste Plan consultation recognised the importance of minimising waste.
Cycling Action Plan for Scotland Consultation (August 2009)
The network response to the Cycling Action Plan for Scotland consultation underlined the links between cycling and public health, climate change and the economy.
Designing Streets Consultation (March 2009)
The network response to the Designing Streets consultation recognised the importance of the design of streets on the physical and mental health and wellbeing of the population.
Climate Change Adaptation Consultation (October 2008)
The network response to the Climate Change Adaptation consultation underlined the importance of actions to adapt and mitigate against climate change.
Children's Environmental Health Strategy for the UK (June 2008)
The network response to the Children's Environment and Health Strategy for the UK consultation recognised the importance of the physical environment such as air quality, green spaces and the design of neighbourhoods on children's health and wellbeing.
Climate Change Bill consultation (April 2008)
The network response to this Bill recognised the importance of synergies between actions on climate change and health and called for increased recognition of these links within the draft Bill.
Scottish Natural Heritage draft corporate strategy (March 2008)
The Network response to this strategy underlined the associations between the natural environment, green spaces and health and well being, and the importance of these to health improvement and health protection.
SEPA draft climate change plan (March 2008)
The network response to this plan recognised the synergies between actions on climate change and health, and suggested a higher recognition of the links within the document.
