Network activities

A series of roadshows, held between April and August 2004 in seven locations around Scotland, enhanced awareness among those working in the field of learning gathered during Phase One of the demonstration project Starting Well. For further details, see our Roadshow page.

The Network has also succeeded in bringing together stakeholders in the Early Years field to further understanding of 'what works'.

The Network also had a role in instituting an 'Evidence into Practice' process on Early Years issues. The first task was pulling together a Breastfeeding Expert Group to examine breastfeeding evidence for national dissemination.

Reports and updates on progress and findings from Starting Well can be found on our Starting Well page.
