European cardiovascular disease statistics 2005 (external link)

Health Economics Research Centre at the University of Oxford, this
report provides statistics about the burden of CVD and its risk factors
in Europe, as well as information about the economic costs of CVD, CHD
and stroke in the European Union.

British Association of Cardiac Rehabilitation (BACR) (external link)
BACR is a national association for cardiac rehabilitation (CR) in the
UK. It is a multidisciplinary body, which was created to represent and
serve the interests of all professions involved in the provision of CR.
British Cardiovascular Society (BCS) (external link)
The BCS is the leading professional body for cardiology in the UK.
British Heart Foundation (BHF) (external link)
The aim of the BHF is to "play a leading role in the fight against
heart disease so that it is no longer a major cause of disability and
