NHS Scotland e-Library
The e-Library is available to all NHS staff in Scotland.
It offers access to databases in a range of disciplines, such as medicine (Medline and EMBASE), nursing (British Nursing Index) and the social sciences (ASSIA), and links to over 5,000 full text electronic journals.
Electronic books and specialist e-libraries on topics such as cancer and mental health can also be accessed.
How to join the e-Library
NHS staff can register for a password, providing full access to the resources available, either with their local health library or via the e-Library home page (external link).
Non-NHS users
Visitors to the Health Scotland Library can also obtain full access to the e-Library.
