How to join Knowledge Services

Joining Knowledge Services is free. If you live or work in Scotland and would like to join Knowledge Services, you can apply for a reader´s card by completing the registration form.

Benefits of joining

• Up to six books can be borrowed for four weeks at a time
• Return books by post for free using our Freepost address
• Request health improvement books and resources from Knowledge Services stock
• Order books from other shelcat libraries
• Renew books online.

Our catalogue of books and resources is available to view online

The service is part of the Shelcat consortium (Scottish Health Libraries Catalogue)
