How to join the Library
Joining the library is free.
If you live or work in Scotland and would like to join the Library, you can apply for a reader's card by:
- Telephoning 0845 912 5442.
- Visiting the library.
- Sending an email to library@health.scot.nhs.uk.
To join via email please include your name, address, and daytime telephone number.
Benefits of joining
- Up to 6 books can be borrowed for 4 weeks at a time.
- Return books by post for free using our Freepost address.
- Reserve items that are currently on loan.
- Renew books online (select 'Check your loans' in the Library Catalogue and follow the instructions).
