3.2 Social prescribing/community referral should target those experiencing mental health problems and those at risk of developing mental health problems

 

 

Rationale:
Promoting access to social support and strengthening social networks of those experiencing mental health problems and those at risk of developing mental health problems is an important part of recovery and preventing the development of mental health problems.[1] There is emerging evidence that social prescribing has the potential to reduce social exclusion.[2]
