Don't let a dodgy ladder shatter your life - Exchange it!
Starting from 1st September HSE, along with partner companies and Local Authorities around the country, will be participating in a GB-wide Ladder Exchange initiative which will seek to remove 5,000 dodgy ladders from the workplace.
As part of this initiative partner companies will be offering up to 50% discount on a new ladder in part exchange for your bent, broken or battered ladder.
Local Authorities will be conducting Ladder inspections as part of their visits. Ladders that are broken, bent or battered or unfit for purpose
could result in enforcement action.
