Mentally Healthy Workplace Training Programme
SCHWL delivers the 2 day Mentally Healthy Workplace Training Programme throughout Scotland. The aim of the course is to provide information and guidance to employers to help deal with workplace issues. The programme will enable employers/managers to create a greater awareness around mental health in their workplace and provide them with the knowledge and skills to deal with issues as they arise. The training is delivered by a member of the MHW National Training team and a local HWL Adviser.
The programme is designed to:
- Give a broader understanding of mental health/mental illness.
- Identify the key factors that contribute to a mentally healthy workplace.
- Increase awareness of the mental health issues in the workplace.
- Improve confidence in dealing with mental health and wellbeing in the workplace.
- Increase understanding and awareness of the legislation that relates to mental health and wellbeing in the workplace.
