Publication

Publication name: Collation of case studies, research evidence and evaluation: conducted at local level and focusing on mental health improvement
Date: 01 February 2012
Description: Towards a Mentally Flourishing Scotland (TAMFS) provides direction on what local authorities, NHS boards and other key stakeholders can do to support mental health improvement. It also details a number of NHS Health Scotland commitments in supporting this agenda. One of these is to support local implementation by promoting knowledge transfer regarding effective interventions and approaches.
As part of this commitment, and in response to stakeholders’ feedback, NHS Health Scotland wished to collate examples of mental health improvement research and evaluation and how this has been used to inform and improve practice at local level.

This report and supporting summaries provide examples of research and/or evaluation which have substantially influenced local mental health improvement activity at local level.
