| Description: | Increasing public awareness of health related risk factors and how to make lifestyle changes necessary changes to reduce such risks is a core element of HEBS work. Action in this sphere aims to influence people's health related knowledge and attitudes and facilitate behaviour change. The main purpose of the HEBS Health Education Population Survey (HEPS) is to collect data required to monitor progress towards achieving this aim with respect to priority topic areas. The indicators in this report involve measures of knowledge, attitudes and behaviours/ health status among adults. |
