Description: This study sets out to assess the quality of the strategic plans prepared by CPPs to address health improvement and health inequalities in their areas; assess the likely impact of ROAs and JHIPs on health inequality targets; identify priorities for strengthening the health inequalities focus and impacts of ROAs and JHIPs; establish the need for more focused guidance and support; identify areas of good practice that can be developed and disseminated; and highlight gaps in the evidence and skills bases that need to be addressed in moving forward.
