| Description: | NHS Health Scotland commissioned BMRB Social Research to conduct a study of workplace smoking policies in Scotland in 2004 on behalf of the Scottish Executive. The study involved two stages: a quantitative survey, using telephone interviews, of those responsible for developing and implementing smoking policies in 1600 workplaces in Scotland; followed by qualitative research with managers and staff in 17 of the workplaces that had taken part in the survey.
