Description: Following the launch of the Scottish Government’s new policy and action plan for mental health improvement (MHI) for 2009-11, Towards a Mentally Flourishing Scotland the above event was held to support the implementation. This meeting brought together key national agencies and partners, with responsibility for mental health improvement, together with senior officials from the Scottish Government, local government and the NHS to: Share the Scottish Government’s strategic vision and direction for MHI, recognise and build on the work of the National Programme for Improving Mental Health and Wellbeing, articulate links to wider policy agendas
Explore the implementation process through local partnerships and Local Outcome Agreements, describe and discuss implementation support and outline next steps.
