National policies seeking to improve and promote health clearly demonstrate that health is a business for everyone. We all have a role to play in some way – whether it is by putting infrastructure in place to encourage people to be more active, by addressing the issues that cause health inequalities, or by giving people information so they can make informed choices. The courses and events offered by Health Scotland are aimed at anyone who has a role to play in improving health. We hope that you will be able to participate in these learning opportunities. The events in this brochure are divided into the following sections: Developing practice — developing good and effective practice, principles and policies. Developing trainers — developing the potential of those involved in training in order to facilitate the training process. Health Scotland conferences — conferences and events organised by Health Scotland. |
