Publication name: Evaluation of Work to Support Implementation of Nutritional Guidance for Early Years
Date: 22 November 2007
Description: This report outlines the qualitative findings from research commissioned by Health Scotland in January 2007 to identify the key characteristics in establishing local partnership development processes to enable the implementation of the Nutritional Guidance for Early Years1 (NGEY) and to assess the role of NHS Health Scotland in facilitating those processes. A qualitative approach was employed, with case studies being conducted in 4 areas throughout Scotland, and a further 2 in-depth interviews were conducted with NHS Health Scotland personnel. Two focus groups were also conducted with a separate sample of childminders and nursery staff who had attended the training in Renfrewshire (see Appendix).
