| Description: | Consultation is now taking place to determine the details of Health Scotland’s role in the equalities agenda and to consider what else needs to happen across the NHS in Scotland to ensure that the Fair for All vision is implemented.
A well-attended stakeholder conference was held on 19 April 2007 and the full report of delegates’ contributions at that event is available from www.healthscotland.com. Following the conference, the Consultation Group, representing NHS boards and Fair for All teams, has met again to analyse the views expressed by delegates and to agree a summary of the main issues, to which it then asked Health Scotland to respond. This paper brings together both the Consultation Group’s summary and NHS Health Scotland’s response, with the intention that this will add focus and clarity to the next phase of consultation. |
