| Publication name: | Applying the National Standards for Community Engagement to Developing Health and Community Care Policies and Services |
| Description: | National Standards for Community Engagement were agreed in 2005 after more than a year of consultation and testing in practice. They have been endorsed by many public, voluntary and community organisations in Scotland, including the NHS.
This briefing looks at how the Standards could help people working in or with the NHS to achieve the best possible results in engaging communities, and explains how they complement NHS guidance on informing, engaging and consulting the public. |
