Prevention 2010 Research Report August 2006

Description:Prevention 2010 is a three year programme targeting those aged 45-64 initially in the most socially deprived 15% of the population who are a risk of serious ill health, particularly cardiovascular disease. The approach will actively seek out those at risk and offer them access to services and treatments which meet their needs. Research was required to determine how best to encourage those in the target population to take up this offer – starting with a health check. This report out lines findings from the research conducted in July 2006.
