| Publication name: | NHS Health Scotland Policy Evaluation and Appraisal Strategy, 2005-2008: Towards Effective Policy Planning & Delivery |
| Description: | One of the functions of the new national health improvement body, Health Scotland, is to co-ordinate the evaluation of health improvement policy in Scotland, as set out in Improving Health in Scotland: the Challenge (2003). To this end, in 2004 Health Scotland worked with an Advisory Group to develop a draft strategy for this area of policy evaluation work for consultation with a wider group of stakeholders in early 2005. Taking into account the feedback received, this document sets out the overall approach and how the strategy will be implemented over the next three years, setting out an outline work programme for 2005-2008. |
