Volunteering
Changes to volunteer expenses
We have increased the rate at which we reimburse some car and motorcycle travel. This applies retrospectively. Therefore, if you have volunteered with us since 6 April 2011, please contact Nicola Thomson - nicola.thomson2@nhs.net - if you think you may be eligible for a payment to reflect this increase.
What can voluntary work do for me?
Volunteering can improve your quality of life:
- help other people
- learn new skills

Who can volunteer?
We welcome anyone 18 years or over to apply to become a Volunteer. No special skills are required; all we ask is that you can offer your time, commitment and reliability.
