External Research Contracts
External partner organisations, such as health boards, Community Health Partnerships and voluntary organisations who need to commission research are invited to use this section of our website to advertise their research contracts.
New External Research Contracts
- A literature review of the evidence on the impact of social capital on children’s health outcomes - Glasgow Centre for Population Health. Closing date for expressions of interest is noon on Monday 20 February 2012.
Please note that all expressions of interest for the external contracts stated above should be submitted directly to the relevant external partner organisation commissioning the research.
Advertise your research contract
You can have your project advertised (for free) on this page as well as distributed via email alert to all approved members on our Research Contractors' Database. For further information on this service provided by NHS Health Scotland and how to get your project advertised, please refer to our External Partner Advertising Guidance Document.
- A short description of the research contract should be emailed to our Research Officer, nhs.healthscotland-researchofficer@nhs.net, as a single word document that can be uploaded straight onto the site.
- Your document should include: a brief introduction to the research; the overall aims; an indication of the research methods; budget and timescales; the closing date for submission of expressions of interest and details of how to submit; contact details for where further information can be sought and a note of how the expressions of interest will be assessed. Please use our External Partner Web Insert Template for creating your document. Please note that we are not responsible for proof-reading or editing your document.
- Please ensure your web insert arrives with us at least 10 working days before the deadline for expressions of interest.
