Expression of interest form

Before you submit an Expression of Interest, you may consult with the NHS Health Scotland Research Manager (nhs.healthscotland-researchofficer@nhs.net) to discuss any potential conflicts of interest in order that a final decision on exclusion or entry into the process can be made. In the interests of transparency and equal treatment of bidders, agencies submitting with conflicts of interest will automatically be excluded from the process.

Subject to the absence of a conflict of interest and the minimum criteria specified in the web insert being met, Expressions of Interest will be assessed using the following criteria (each with equal weighting) relative to other submissions:

the proposed team's relevant knowledge and skills
the proposed team's experience and previous relevant research.

Your Expression of Interest should not include web addresses for further information. Any web addresses included will be omitted from the assessment process. Please tailor your submission to each project.

If your character limit exceeds the maximum number of characters specified you will not be able to submit your Expression of Interest form.

If your submission is a partnership bid, list the names and addresses of all other members of the partnership:

* Briefly indicate the relevant knowledge and skills of the proposed team members to carry out the research (max 2000 characters including spaces)

* Indicate experience and previous relevant research undertaken by proposed team members. Projects cited should include dates and contract value (max 2000 characters including spaces)

* Include summary CVs for each key member of the proposed research team detailing their skills, experience and qualifications (max 1200 characters including spaces per CV)
