Welcome to the interim pages of the new Equalities and Planning Directorate.
1st April 2008
The Equalities and Planning Directorate started life on 1st April 2008. We have a team in place that is committed to bringing about an NHS in Scotland that is truly person centred and places equality at its core.
In our first few weeks and months of working as a new team, we will be developing work programmes in consultation with our key stakeholders. As these plans develop we will share them with you through this website.
Meantime, we have developed this as an interim site to provide ready access to all the resources and guidance developed by the former Fair for All teams and to introduce to you our new team in the Directorate.
I hope the tools provided here will be useful to you – and I look forward to discussing with many stakeholders what sort of web base will be most appropriate to their needs.
Meantime, I am sure you share our enthusiasm for the challenge ahead.
