Fair For All - Disability
Fair for All - Disability aims to improve the experiences of disabled people in NHSScotland, both as service users and as employees by supporting NHS Boards to implement good practice in disability equality.
Welcome to Fair for All - Disability
"Tackling health inequalities in the most deprived communites is a key objective for Health Boards in Scotland in their local delivery plans. Disability is often a neglected aspect when inequalities in health are considered. Along with the other Fair For All strands this now needs to be incorporated into thinking about how the NHS meets the needs of the diverse population of Scotland"
- Graham Robertson, Chief Executive NHS Health Scotland
The 'Fair For All' approach aims to achieve an NHS that is free from prejudice and discrimination.
A focus on equity will mean that everyone is able to access health services that are responsive to their individual needs and circumstances.
