Improving how we work through Equality Impact Assessment

Find out how equality impact assessment (EQIA) is informing and improving our work.

We have produced 2 reports to share with our partners, staff and the public to show how equality impact assessment is informing our health improvement work and organisational practice at NHS Health Scotland. The reports take account of the equality impact assessments that we have carried out since 2006 until 2009. We intend to report annually in this way and we see these reports as one way to communicate how equality impact assessment links with our overall goals as an organisation.

EQIA Reports

Our impact assessment final reports give details of how we carried out the EQIA, the findings and recommendations, how we consulted and our monitoring arrangements.

You will also find here the comments we received from our EQIA consultations and how these comments have informed our final report.

Copies of the full equality impact assessment workbooks are available on request from Tim Andrew, Policy & Diversity manager.
