Health Works is the Scottish Government’s strategy that sets out why they want to change attitudes to health and work amongst employers, workers and healthcare professionals;, it also states actions that they will undertake to achieve this.
The Health Works outcomes framework identifies the key outcomes and specifies local activities which could be undertaken to achieve them. It also presents evidence that gives the rationale for the identified activities.
The framework is intended to support an outcome-focussed and evidence-informed approach to planning and monitoring outcomes.
Before looking at the tools on this site, we recommended that you take time to read the introductory sections of the full outcomes framework, which explain the design, development and applications of the framework, and also highlight some important issues and challenges.
